Deposit and Cancellation
When an order is made, a deposit of 50% of total invoice value is immediately required. The deposit is non-refundable and without its payment no orders will be forwarded to our production facility. Homes in Heaven will charge you in full if the items are in stock or on special promotions. For all Trade/Interior Designer accounts, sale is by Proforma Inv/Order only.
No cancellation costs will be applied to orders cancelled until 24 hours after order date.Order cancellation within a 7 days period, a 20% charge of the ordertotal will be applied.Order cancellation after 7 days, a charge of 50% of the order total will be applied. A cancellation charge does not entitle the customer to the supply of part of the order.
Refunds, Exchanges and Guaranties
Homes in Heaven is not required by law to give refunds on goods purchased unless they are found to be unfit for the purpose for which they are intended. However, in the event of goods purchased being found unsuitable, Homes in Heaven may, at its sole discretion, exchange goods or issue a credit note. Homes in Heaven do not exchange or issue credit notes against special orders or items made with non-stock fabrics under any circumstances. Goods must be returned, unused, in their original conditions and packaging, with their original receipt and within 7 days from date of purchase. Delivery costs and risks will be held by the client. The original invoice must be produced for an exchange or a credit note (Please note that credit cards slips, bank statements, etc are not acceptable). Our products are produced with high standards of quality and therefore, we offer a two year guarantee, from the date of invoice, against manufacturing or material defects.
Payment of Balance
Once you are notified that the goods you have ordered are ready for delivery, the balance due is immediately payable. Until the full balance has been received no delivery will be undertaken. When the deposit is paid by credit/debit card, the balance payment will be charged automatically to the same card 5 days before the delivery date is setup. In all other cases cleared funds are required before any delivery takes place.
Delivery and Essential checks
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that there is suitable delivery access for the goods that have been ordered. Homes in Heaven accepts no liability for failure to deliver due to restricted access. Unless otherwise advised, estimated delivery time is 4 to 8 weeks upon receipt of deposit. Delivery is not the essence of the contract, so delivery estimates are not binding. Please check your Products carefully and report any defects immediately upon delivery.
Homes in Heaven reserves the right to charge for storage if a product or an order cannot be delivered due to client?s fault. Such a charge will be calculated at 2% per week of the value of the invoice. Please enquire for quotes on storage, should it be required for longer than 3 weeks.
Finish and Colour
All our furniture is hand finished, thus ensuring the distinctive and unique characteristics of each piece of furniture. The colour and texture may vary slightly from piece to piece. All efforts are made to achieve consistency of colour and texture but no guarantee can be made. This adds to the uniqueness of each Homes in Heaven piece.
Customer Supplied Fabric
Delivery estimates for furniture upholstered in customer supplied fabric starts upon receipt of the fabric at Homes in Heaven shop. A one of charge called as fabric handling charge, is levied on all orders where the client supplies the fabric.
